APPEARANCEAlex is kind of tall, standing at 6 feet even, which is more average than it is tall for a guy, but he's also pretty skinny, weighing in at a whopping 153. His hair is brown, nothing extraordinary, but it's always clean and styled just the way he likes it to be. As for his face, he's got kind of a baby face, which makes him look a little younger than he actually is, and sometimes it gets quite annoying, but other times he doesn't mind it so much. When it comes to personal style, he wears whatever he's comfortable in, which consists of jeans that actually fit, and aren't too tight or too lose, t-shirts, and whatever shoes are comfortable, mainly converse. His ears are pierced, three times on each side, but he more often than not only wears one earring in each at a time.---------------------

HISTORYAlex was the product of poor judgement and a drunken one night stand. Born to a mother who was previously addicted to drugs before the pregnancy, and who went right back to them as soon as she could after giving birth, he was left to the care of his father while his mother disappeared back into the alley ways of the streets of Los Angeles. Not long after that, his father picked up everything they owned and sold their house, moving to San Francisco as fast as he could, to be near the family they had located there because he felt as though he couldn't raise his first born all on his own. As the years passed, Thomas met a woman that his sister had over for dinner one night, and not long after the two started dating. A year later, they were married, and Alex, despite being so young, took to her extremely well. As time continued to progress, everything seemed to be fine, until his birth mother showed up when he was six years old, with the claim that she was taking him with her. A nasty court battle ensued, and the judge decided that Alex would stay with his father and stepmother, given his biological mother's past addictions and troubles.
The problem didn't end there, though. Rachel continued to linger around, trying to get any chance she could to see her son, though his father never allowed it and eventually ended up filing a restraining order against the woman to keep her away from him, his new wife, and their son. A few weeks later, Thomas received a phone call that Alex's biological mother was found in a hotel room and was rushed to the hospital, but was announced dead on arrival. The cause of death had been the thing that had caused her to abandon her son; the drugs that she had so treasured more than her own life and her own son. Not long after that, Alex was enrolled in school, and as he went from grade to grade, he did well enough to keep off of academic probation. It was clear that he hated going to school, despite the fact that he was smart; he just didn't care to try because he simply didn't like it. he went directly to college after high school, which turned out to be a mistake, because he ended up dropping out after his first year and never going back. Instead, at nineteen years old, he put together a band. He's not twenty one years old, and his band just got signed and is hitting the charts and airwaves hard. He still lives in San Francisco, close to his dad and younger sister and step mom, considering they are his biggest inspiration.---------------------

ROLE PLAY EXAMPLEmine, from TLY, character holly renee parkerHis somewhat surprised statement about her skating brought a small smile to her lips as a light giggle escaped her lips. Raising her eyes to look up at him, she shook her head slightly, I don't skate. I know a little bit, because of Maddox, but I'm much too klutzy to do it often. No, this board is your new one. As she said that, she held the board out to him, grinning slightly in a crooked manner. She had a big heart, and it was obvious in the fact that she was giving him a skateboard when she didn't know him all that well. Watching his reaction, she felt fairly please. There wasn't a selfish bone in the girl's body, and though this was her going out on a limb, not something she did fairly often, she couldn't help but feel glad that she had gone out with Maddox and gotten the board for Robbie. Rocking back on her heels after presenting him with the board, she wiggled her toes inside of her shoes and tilted her head slightly before speaking again, What do ya say we go inside and get our bowl on, so I can get started handed you an ass kicking? And with another crooked grin and a small laugh, she turned and headed up the concrete stairs and towards the door of the bowling alley.
Once inside, she headed straight for the counter, walking beside Robbie and chatting idly about various things, asking each other questions about the other. As she reached the counter, she grinned at the man standing behind and responded as he asked her what size bowling shoe she wore, Seven and a half, please. Once the shoes were in her hands, she smiled at the older man and thanked him before stepping back in order to allow Robbie to step up and get his shoes as well. After both of them had their shoes, Holly gazed towards the lanes, finally spotting an empty one and heading towards it while pointing it out to the blonde headed boy that she was there with. Sitting down in the chairs, she pulled off her green converse and set them under the chair she was sitting in, along with her purse, before pulling on the bowling shoes and tying them up. Gazing down at her feet, she laughed a bit, When I was little, my mom and dad and I would go bowling, and I always called the shoes clown shoes. They just look so funny, I think. Standing and walking over to a rack that held bowling balls, she finally found a green one that wasn't too heavy for her to bowl with, and she swiftly returned to the lame, excited to begin the game. Reaching his side, she looked up at him, So how about we get started, so I can start winning, huh? Just like I won in Halo Three last night.
She grinned, reminding him of how he had gotten his ass handed to him last night in their little game of Halo 3. There was no way on earth she was going to let him live that down anytime soon, and if he got beaten today, then he would surely never hear the end of it from her, or possibly from Maddox either. Though, she did keep in mind that she could lose, considering she hadn't ever seen Robbie bowl or anything of the like, and if that was the case, then she was sure that she would never hear the end of it from him, but then they would both be even, until they went back to her house and played the Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2 tournament she had challenged him to the night before. Gazing up at the screen that would be keeping their score, she saw that she was up. Approaching confidently, she moved swiftly towards the lane and sent the ball rolling down until it collided with the pins, and sent eight of them scattering in all different directions. Walking back towards the machine that would spit the ball back out to her, she waited until it came through, and once it had she grabbed it and repeated the previous process, managing to knock down one of the remaining pins before returning back to Robbie, eyebrows raised and a grin on her face, Alright so let's see what you're made of, shall we? Moving out of his way, she stood close to the computer where their information had been entered, watching as he went up to bowl.---------------------
