alyssa sniffed, feeling her eyes water as she looked at the ring. she had to bring it close to her eyes so she could examine every detail of it. it was so beautiful. it must have cost demi a fortune. at least five figures. probably a lot more. he had spent all that on her. plus there were the roses too. oh god. she could feel herself properly crying now. only it wasn't out of pain as she had felt before seeing the ring. this time it was happiness. she turned over as he wanted, shyly looking at the blanket beneath them both rather then look him in the eye. honestly, with alyssa sober she felt that demi was far more attractive then her, and honestly could do a lot better. she bit her bottom lip as she heard him ask her to marry him before looking up at him shyly, a blush rising on her cheeks as she continued to cry infront of him. alyssa couldn't help it.
"i... i'd be honoured to be your w-wife."
alyssa finally managed to say, her piercing blue eyes staring up into his as she offered the ring back to him so he could put it on. she hadn't actually come to the realistic conclusion she was going to be a mother yet. the pregnancy alone was enough for alyssa to deal with. even that was hard. she tucked a strand of ebony hair behind her ear, the sober-ness really affecting alyssa ashton. if she hadn't of been so troubled and been drunk so long she probably would have ended up as a shy sweetheart that probably would have never caught demi's eye. alyssa had to hope somewhere in her heart that demi would have wanted her even if she had ended up that way. leaning upward, nervously, she then pressed her lips to his in a short peck before pulling away. demi was so attractive.

Aly was being so shy, it was adorable. Maybe it was because she wasn't drunk. At least, Demi was assuming she was sober. It was hard to tell. Aly was still a mystery to him, but he was enjoying figuring her out. One of the plus sides to their marriage would be having all that time to learn about Aly. Her quirks, her habits, everything about her. She was the light of his life, and he hadn't realized until she'd walked out just how much he loved her. Her smile, her laugh, her personality. She was the only one in the world for him, the only person he could ever love. If she would only say yes.
And the baby. Demi hoped it had her eyes. Maybe it would be a little girl. It would be just like Aly, and he would never be able to say no. Or it could be a boy. He could just imagine how rambunctious that little guy would be. What would they name it? Who would it look more like? There were so many things he wanted to know about this little person.
He was so busy day-dreaming, Demi almost missed her answer. Luckily, he tuned in just in time. His brown eyes lit up and a gigantic smile spread across his face. “You- you will?” he said a bit breathlessly. He took the ring from her and slipped it on her finger, his smile never fading and his eyes never left her. “I love you Aly,” he whispered, kissing her softly when she kissed him. One hand cupped her cheek as he leaned down to nuzzle her neck.
